 Our China:
Some of our china is mismatched and some are complete sets, however we think these look nice mixed up a bit too. Most of our china is antique so you may find slight colour fade and faded gilding, they may be crazed which looks like a crackle glaze, but this just adds to the charm of the pieces. It is extremely fine bone china which is how it should be and this makes the tea taste best, however this also means it is very delicate and should be treated with love and care. We know that accidents can happen which is why we provide a washing up service free of charge to minimise the risk of pieces being broken.
Under no circumstances should they be put in a dishwasher, oven or microwave oven.

  Collection/Delivery:
We will deliver to your venue with a complete list of all items present for you to sign on delivery. Upon our collection we just ask that you check the quantity and quality of items and follow the guide lines of packing crockery ready for collection.
Delivery & collection within a 10 mile radius is free, every 10 miles after that will be charged at £10.00 per return journey.

  Payment:
We will send you out a booking form & contract for you to read through, sign and return with a 20% deposit of the total amount. Final payment is required in full four weeks prior to your event.
If full payment is not received before the hire date, the hire will not proceed and the deposit will be forfeited.

  Cancellation policy:
Orders cancelled no later than twenty eight days prior to event will be refunded in full, however thereafter full charges will apply.

 Breakages/loss:
We also ask for a breakage deposit of 20% to be paid with the final invoice, this will be returned no later than 5 working days after your event after all china has been checked and accounted for. In the event of any china/props being lost or damaged the appropriate amount will be deducted from the breakage deposit, (please see breakages/loss). Should any breakages/loss exceed the deposit taken then we will send an invoice for the cost of replacement which is payable within 14 days of invoice.

China that is part of a set will have a higher value than individual pieces, breakage prices as follows:

  Hire period:
The hire period is for three to four days, during which time the china should stay on site where it has been delivered. Should you require a longer period of hire then this can be arranged upon request. Minimum order is a package for ten people or £50.00 within a 10 mile radius, within a twenty mile radius the minimum order is £100.00 and further than 20 miles is £150.00.
Orders may be amended up to four weeks prior to the date of event. At all times the hired items remain the property of chintz'n'china vintage hire.
